Our Two-Step Risk Management Process

NEC begins by uncovering the facts. We ask important questions and carefully listen to the answers. These “fact finder” sessions allow us to tailor our two-step management process to our clients’ needs.

In step one, we systematically analyze every asset, looking for potential risks and exposures. Does the client own a building or buildings? Are there mortgages? What level of deductibility is the client willing to accept, and so on. Then, we design a strategy to cost-effectively protect these assets from physical danger and liability.

In step two, we look at the situation from a financial planning perspective. Who will assume the mortgage in the event of death or disability? Will the business be able to continue? We use what we’ve learned in step one to develop strategies for easing business transitions, reducing taxes and preserving estates.

After these plans are in place we regularly follow up to ensure they meet or exceed their objectives. We also recommend changes to keep them up-to-date and take advantage of new opportunities.

Property & Casualty Insurance to Manage Risk

As one of Missouri’s largest independent insurance agencies, NEC has access to more than 30 property/casualty insurance carriers, including some of the industry’s most distinguished names. Our volume gives us the buying power to provide coverage at extremely competitive prices.

Just as important, NEC has the resources to deliver exceptional service. Whether it’s helping negotiate complex contracts or issuing simple certificates of insurance, our experts are committed to total client satisfaction.
